If you’re new to vegan eating, finding things to eat when you’re on the road or short on time can sometimes be overwhelming. Luckily, many of your favorite chains offer delicious plant-based options. And earlier this week, White Castle announced that they would add all-vegan black bean sliders to their menu for a limited time! Plus, they’re only 99 cents!

The black bean patty, which is loaded with black beans, corn, and red peppers, is only available through June 1, so be sure to try it out while you have the chance! But that’s just the beginning. Here are some of our favorite vegan meals at White Castle that you can get year-round:

Veggie Slider

Choose from the Sweet Thai sauce or horseradish mustard. In select locations, try the hamburger sauce.

French Fries

A classic. Try these with the Cattleman’s Bull’s Eye Original BBQ sauce!

Home-Style Onion Rings

Unfortunately, their regular onion rings aren’t vegan, but if you find yourself in the Chicago, Louisville, or St. Louis areas, be sure to try these!

• French Toast Sticks

A great vegan breakfast option for when you’re short on time.

• Hashbrown Nibblers

Salty, crunchy, and under $3, these are great with French toast sticks!

• Maple and Brown Sugar Oatmeal

Easy! Just be sure to ask that it be made with steamed water, not milk.

*As always, be sure to let your servers know that you’re vegan. Many are happy to make recommendations for substitutions.

Pushing for more animal-friendly menu options is a great way to make vegan eating easier for you and the millions of Americans who are moving away from meat.
