It’s always a good time to give up meat, dairy, and eggs in exchange for a delicious and compassionate vegan diet. But Veganuary, the new movement to get people to go vegan in the month of January (and hopefully stay vegan forever), has truly taken off in the past few years.
Now international restaurant chain Pret A Manger has announced it will introduce 15 new vegetarian and vegan menu items to commemorate Veganuary. From breakfast items like Apple & Pomegranate Overnight Oats to stews and soups like cauliflower-chickpea dahl and Peruvian-inspired spiced corn and quinoa to “pots” like the Asian Green and Veggie Rainbow, Pret is upping its plant-based game to customers’ delight. (By the way, all the menu items above are 100 percent vegan.)
This isn’t the first time Pret has made news for being veg-friendly. Back in June the chain launched the all-vegetarian Veggie Pret pop-up in the Soho neighborhood of London. The experiment went so well the pop-up became permanent!
If you don’t live near a Pret location, there are tons of vegan options at other restaurant chains all over the world. Click here to see the ones we recommend.
